After years of craftsmanship and experience the Dragonfly Double Ender ( Tirhandil) was born: with both visual and practical appeal it cannot fail to rank as one of the most competent and distinctive Traditional Double Enders afloat. The double ender especially the Tirhandil is a boat that was built in the mediterenian almost 3000 years ago tobe used as a cargo vessel which was very durable , seaworthy and reliable. Due to the form of the Boat's Hull, it can stand all types of sea conditions and can Surf the waves. We took these advantages of the historical boat, joined it with modern Technology and finished with the best craftsmanship.
We are a Boat Yard that offers every boat owner their ulimate dream to create their own custom made boat. We make it possible for our customers to design the interiours of the boats they order with us, with the expertise of our team of interiour designers. IBC builds high quality wooden boats with traditional lines, but uses the modern strip plank, veneer coating and Epoxy Resin Lamination which is widely known as COLD MOULDING method of construction. This system of laminating, gluing and protecting the wood results in a composite material that gives the boat extraordinary strength and stiffness as well as cheap maintanence.
Using modern equipment and a large production facility we are able to systematically control all conditions, a vital part of the production process. Quality control is something we take very seriously and every part of each boat is appropriately recorded and measured during the production process. This method allows us to retain high standards even in a labor-intensive environment. The boats we produce are certifed by Lloyds , RINA , DCI, etc. Based on customer demand. Our standart certification of CE is done by Dutch Certification Institute.

Why Wood?
In an era of modern, artificial materials, it has become difficult to explain to a young yachtsman why wood is today's best shipbuilding material. Wood has a number of significant advantages.
In relation to other standard naval materials, such as polyester resin, aluminium and even high-quality steel, wood has the highest quality coefficient. The quality coefficient of a construction material is the ratio between its strength and density. That means that a wooden boat will weigh less than one the same size same built to have the same strength.
Or, in other words, between equally heavy constructions of the same size, the wooden one will have greatest strength. The higher the quality coefficient, the more suitable the material for building purposes, particularly for the things that need to be light, but strong, as are boats and planes. It is undoubtedly an important factor when choosing materials for shipbuilding.
Wood as a material is the most resistant to the so-called stress of materials. The stress of materials is the reduction of its strength as a consequence of intensive dynamic stress. While sailing, the structure of the boat is under constant dynamic impact of water and its own weight.
